We all have them. Days we wish we could just go back to bed and sleep for, well, forever. Obviously, that's impossible. So here are some tips on how to make it through.
Let yourself have the bad day! Don't try to make yourself feel better. A lot of times that just makes you feel worse. Stop worrying about others and take care of yourself.
Give yourself a bad day "time limit". Set a certain time when you will quit having a bad day. Even if you have to just pretend you're not having one.
Plan ahead. Get yourself a little present for bad days. A gift card to your favorite store, a chocolate bar, a stuffed animal, a new book, whatever will make you happy. Wrap it and put it away for when you need a little pick me up.
Have some "me time". Sometimes we wear ourselves and. There's so much to do and so little time. Sometimes you just need to STOP. Do you really need to get it all done this instant? Allow yourself some procrastination. Take time to do something you enjoy. Go out with a friend. Watch a good movie.
Do something for someone else. Helping other people gives instant satisfaction. it will make you feel better about yourself too.
Get of the internet! Take a break from the screen time. It's an addiction. We start to base how we see ourselves on how many likes we get on Facebook. How many views out Youtube video gets. NO! Get out of the house!
Take a walk and clear your mind.
Listen to LOUD music! So loud you can't even think. Jump around! Dance! Sing!
If all else fails. Chocolate. It's always there for you.
